TryMe, an app that re-thinks the way we look for jobs, bridging the gap between job seekers and employers. And even people just like you and me, that happen to need help with something. I realize that an app came out just this week that has a lot of the same core principles called Zaarly. This was something I did a year ago with a few friends of mine. I wich it was reality.
Logo I did for Lensbaby - a tilt shift lens. The tagline became “cradle your creativity”, inspired by the design resembling a stroller and the shutter.

We all recognize the feeling of excitement when trying a new restaurant; the exotic change of location, the new menu, you and your friends checking out the new staff whilst your taste buds are wildly groping at the new foods. If the experience was satisfactory, you will gladly revisit if your wallet allows you to. You return once, twice and after a while that excitement will transform itself into a different type of experience – one of familiarity. And there are two types: one you revisit, and one you don’t. Our objective is to keep people coming after that initial excitement, and to love that familiarity.
In South Park the architecture reflects the sophisticated persona with good stamina. We’re talking early mornings trying to enjoy that last minute of snoozing before rushing to work with their laptops in hand, and polishing that power point presentation right in time for the clients entering through the door. Relaxed yet focused our consumer has the confidence to wear a graphic tee and still be taken seriously. During lunch when that hunger is screaming for attention, a quick bite out will conveniently satisfy. Seeing lunch break as a real chance to clear busy thoughts, it is important that everything goes smoothly. A successful lunch break means leaving with a comforting feeling and a big smile, fueling up for the rest of the day. A grilled cheese sandwich completes the job well.
Ideally, our consumer would eat at home for lunch but that’s simply not possible. Therefore he often visits the same restaurants – the ones where he knows what he is getting but never get’s tired of it. It’s that good familiarity that makes him come back – the one where repetition is a positive thing. That nostalgic feeling of safety and warmth to break up the daily routine. That comforting grilled cheese sandwich his mother used to give him. But sophisticated, in the mature yet cute environment the AGCK offers. For you never get tired of your home. Yes, we do make modifications. We change our palette and adjust things accordingly, but we always feel warm inside flipping through the high school yearbook, no matter how funky the hairstyle. And the same goes with a grilled cheese sandwich. The big idea? It makes your lunch break feel like cutting class. The key is to make those little changes. Switch the cheese to piave vecchio nudo, the jungle juice for a glass of Syrah, and the coke to a homemade grapefruit and rose pepper soda.
The fact is, no matter how old you get, you never get tired of that grilled cheese. It’s simply something you crave every now and then. Why? Because it’s a bit naughty – in a good way. Just like cutting that class, the excitement nourishes your soul.

When I started working for them the first task was to give them an identity. The tagline became “Giving a little zen to the web”, laying ground for a greater mission to accomplish harmony in an otherwise greatly cluttered web interface world.
25% of San Francisco is paved - more than all the city’s parks together. People are finally realizing that the car might not always be the best way of transportation, and the pedestrian in the city needs more room to breathe. With this video I wish to highlight the importance of these Parklets and the over all movement to a more free and enjoyable city that promotes social interaction through urban planning.
